So . . . overtime? I hate the National Hockey League’s idea of overtime, but we had to endure it once again in a 3-2 shootout loss by the St. Louis Blues to the Colorado Avalanche. Furthermore, there were no fights in the contest, so the Blues hold steady with 11 fights this season, currently good for a tie for ninth in the NHL with the Calgary Flames, Dallas Stars and Pittsburgh Penguins. The team’s fight record stands at 5-1-5 on the season.

Remember the 90’s? Well, the Blues and the Chicago Blackhawks seem to have turned back the clock to a time when both divisional opponents were really good . . . y’know, like they were back in the 90’s. This time around, both teams seem to be doing it in different ways – the Blackhawks with more of a scoring touch, and the Blues with more of a defensive approach. Either way, the two teams are very close in both the Central Division and Western Conference standings, and hopefully it stays this way throughout the season. Not only that, it will be hard to imagine the crowd being any more charged than tonight, what with the return of David Perron to live action after a long concussion recovery. Fight-wise, the Blackhawks are also not too far away from the Blues, having squared off in only (two) fewer fights than the Blues. Yet the Hawks are currently tied for 19th in the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers, New Jersey Devils, Toronto Maple Leafs and Winnipeg Jets with nine fighting majors on the season. The Blackhawks are 1-3-5 in those nine fights. And yes, we have covered the Blackhawks once before this season on Throwdown Lowdown (November 8th, to be exact).

Blackhawks players that have fought this year include former Blue Jamal Mayers (6’1”, 222lbs, 1-1-3) with five fights on the season, Daniel Carcillo (6’0”, 203lbs, 0-2-1 including this loss to Ryan Reaves) with three fights and former Sabre Steve Montador (6’0”, 210lbs, Draw) with one. If you’d like to see a more complete detail on Blackhawks fighters and their fight records from 2010-2011, you can find that in the link above to the November 8th report. It’s starting to get to the point in the season where last year’s fight records are becoming irrelevant compared to this year’s fight records, and while they will not be cut off immediately, I’ll stop posting them for previous opponents and probably stop posting them altogether VERY soon.

What would be hilarious, considering his mouthing-off to Reaves about “ducking” him recently, it would be awesome if, say, Reaves got into it with, say, Mayers . . . WHILE John Scott was on the ice. And let me make this perfectly clear regarding Scott . . . I have a hell of a lot of respect for you as a fighter, but dude, you are not even close to a competent National Hockey League performer, and Reaves has a six-inch height and 30-pound weight disadvantage on you. He is NOT in your weight class, and he is NOT ducking you. So please proceed to shut your tall, wide trap and LEARN HOW TO PLAY RESPONSIBLE HOCKEY IN THE NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE. /END RANT

What a charged atmosphere this is going to be tonight. Boy, am I glad I will be there. I cannot wait.

As promised, here is video of the fight that Scott Nichol won over David Booth on Friday night. There’s more where that came from.

Talk about your whirlwind weekend. Following a win at home on Friday, the St. Louis Blues were largely lackluster in a 2-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild in “The State of Hockey” on Saturday night, followed by Davis Payne being fired and replaced by Ken Hitchcock on Sunday night, then news that the full staff of assistant coaches were being retained. Weird, wild, wacky and kind of fun . . . that would be the best description of the approximately 48 hours from Friday’s home win to Sunday’s website announcement of the coaching change. Back to Saturday’s game . . . there was another fight, and lo and behold, it was Scott Nichol doing the punching, this time against former Flyer Darroll Powe. A handful of folks scored this as a victory for Nichol, but the vote ended with a draw prevailing, and looking at the video, I think that’s the right call (you be the judge). The Blues now have collected five fighting majors on the 2011-2012 National Hockey League season, now good for a tie for 17th place with several teams, holding a fight record of 2-0-3.

And just like on January 2, 2010, the Chicago Blackhawks come to town to welcome the new Blues head coach to the team and the Central Division. But while this Hawks team leads the division, they are not favored to win the division like THAT Hawks team did (along with some greater accomplishments that this reporter will not speak of). This is the first of six contests between the Blackhawks and the Blues in the 2011-2012 season, and these two teams have a history of shedding the gloves and pounding each other in the face. That said, last year’s Blackhawks were 24th in the NHL with 28 fights on the season, going a solid 13-8-7 in those fights. This year, the Hawks are tied for 11th with several teams, earning six fighting majors on the season and going 1-0-5 in those fights.

Blackhawks players that have fought this year include former Blue Jamal Mayers (6’1”, 222lbs, 1-0-4), who is in a tie for first with several players with five fights in 2011-2012, and former Flyer Daniel Carcillo (6’0”, 203lbs, Draw) with one. Current Blackhawks who fought last year include Carcillo (4-6-3) with 13 fights and Mayers, then with the Sharks (4-1-7) with 12 fights. Following them were John Scott (6’8”, 270lbs, 8-0-0) with eight fights, former Flyer Sean O’Donnell (6’2”, 238lbs, 2-1-4) with seven fights, former Sabre Steve Montador (6’0”, 210lbs, 0-2-1) with three fights and Bryan Bickell (6’4”, 233lbs, 1-0-1) with two fights. Solo fighters from last season included Brent Seabrook (6’3”, 221lbs, Win), former Coyote Sami Lepisto (6’1”, 193lbs, Draw) and Viktor Stalberg (6’3”, 209lbs, Loss).

While I know Nichol will play, I seriously doubt he throws the gloves down a third night in a row. With the new coach in town, it is unknown what Ryan Reaves’ role on this team will be going forward. If Reaves plays, I would TOTALLY kill for a Reaves-Mayers fight and would PAY to see it happen.

A message is sent. Whether or not it was the correct message is irrelevant. Will that message be heard? Go get ‘em, team.

One of my morning rituals on the train ride to work is checking Twitter to see what was said while I slept (well attempted to sleep). I came across this Ian Cole late Monday night tweet.

Just saw a commercial during the hawks game with Duncan Keith working out… Feel free to put some plates on the bar pic.twitter.com/ri7uJkN8

I had a good laugh as any Blues fan would. Never a bad time to poke a little fun at rival number one. Then I thought, “here comes the crying…”

I was surprised when the Twitter mafia let this one slide and didn’t see much else mentioned. Maybe I just dont follow those who had more to say in response. Either way, still surprised.

At lunch I get a text message advising me that good old former Blue Jamal Mayers, now a member of the enemy faction, chirped back at Mr. Cole.

@ICole28 maybe Duncan should have put his Norris trophy and Cup on it?! Have you even played a season yet?

Of course Jammer went straight to where my mind went as well as probably everyone else. Don’t talk smack till you’ve got something to back it up unless you’re just being silly. Since Keith plays for the Hawks, isn’t on Twitter and Cole is with the Blues organization, Mayers assumed rudeness defined the comment.

Of course, it was clarified the night before that it was meant to be a “ha-ha”…

Elliotte Friedman of Hockey Night in Canada fame chimed in with the following last night as well.

@ICole28 Ian, it was funny. Anyone who gets offended at that needs a humour transplant. Knowing the Hawks, they probably ripped him too.

Cole added.

@FriedgeHNIC ha agreed, knowing any hockey player, they ripped him. Hardly taking shots, must be people are a bit over sensitive…

Apparently being in the Windy City has gotten Mayers in touch with his sensitive side.

It’s really much to do about nothing. Players say (and do) much worse to each other on the ice. Ask Wayne Simmonds. So a little Tweetchirping isn’t so bad, but it is rather funny. Too bad Mayers missed out on the joke. Though he may be “right” about Cole not being in the league yet, that’s a little low.

Now who is overreacting?

He does deserve some kudos though by discovering a new role for those enforcers out there who can’t take a regular shift. Start a Twitter account and start sticking up for your teammates when other players come at them. Is BizNasty even in on that yet?

Image via Wikipedia

Talk about your epic turn-arounds from one day to the next. I missed most of the Blues’ 4-0 win over the Los Angeles Kings, but learning the shot differential was +18 in favor of the Blues usually tells the story, and I’ve heard it was about that dominant. Not only that, there were two fights in the game – one which led to a Blue knocking a King silly. First, it was Cam Janssen against Kevin Westgarth, a fight that Westgarth won relatively easily (video here). Then, Ryan Reaves knocked Kyle Clifford into next season with two punches (video here, and I really DO hope Clifford turns out to be OK because that looked SCARY). So the Blues, with those two fights, move to 67 fighting majors on the season, moving into second place in the NHL. With the win and the loss, their fight record shifts to 28-20-19.

The Blues have a history with the San Jose Sharks this season. We’ve covered them on three occasions this season (November 4th, December 18th and January 15th). And there was some incident involving Joe Thornton and David Perron. The bad blood has resulted in seven fights between the two teams this season. And it’s not like the Sharks don’t know how to fight . . . they do so a LOT. Right now, the Sharks are tied for 12th in the NHL with the Washington Capitals and Philadelphia Flyers, each with 41 fights on the season. And their fight record? Well, let’s just say it’s one of the best in the league . . . 18-4-19. Quite impressive.

Your old friend and mine, Jamal Mayers (6’1”, 214lbs 3-2-6 including a draw with Brad Winchester and an overwhelming win over Winchester) leads the team with 11 fights on the season. A close second? Ryane Clowe (6’2”, 225lbs, 6-0-4 including a draw with BJ Crombeen) with 10 fights. Frazer McLaren (6’5”, 250lbs, 1-1-2, currently with Worcester of the AHL) and Scott Nichol (5’9”, 180lbs, 1-0-3 including a draw with Chris Porter, on IR with an upper body injury) each have fought four times. Ben Eager (6’2”, 235lbs, 2-0-1 as a Shark and 3-0-3 overall, acquired from the Thrashers near the deadline) has three fights as a Shark. Douglas Murray (6’3”, 240lbs, 2-0-0) and Brandon Mashinter (6’4”, 235lbs, 1-0-1 including a win over Reaves) each have fought twice. The rest have fought once each: Jamie McGinn (6’1”, 200lbs, Win, currently with Worcester of the AHL), Mike Moore (6’1”, 200lbs, Win, currently with Worcester of the AHL), Devin Setoguchi (6’0”, 200lbs, Draw), Benn Ferriero (5’11”, 195lbs, Draw . . . with Ian Cole, currently with Worcester of the AHL) and Logan Couture (6’1”, 195lbs, Loss . . . to Alex Pietrangelo) each have fought once.

Odds are that there WILL be a fight, but whom? Most of the regular participants seem to have left the building. I would think Reaves would be good for a rematch with Mashinter. Otherwise, Janssen is ALWAYS a good bet to throw down. Maybe against Clowe? We’ll see.

Two good games in a row? That’d be nice.

Image via NBC Sports

First, you get updates from the Anaheim game on Wednesday. As mentioned, there were four fights in that game – George Parros overwhelmingly defeated Barret “SIR JAXX” Jackman, BJ Crombeen soundly defeated Maxim Lapierre, Eric Brewer and Luca Sbisa worked a draw and Matt Beleskey got a sound win over Vladimir Sobotka. An updated fight record comes later in the report.

A very fun 3-1 Blues win over the Los Angeles Kings – mind you, the first Blues win in 2011 – was not made more fun by the fists as there were no fights in that game (although as in most Blues games, there were several near-fights that never came to fruition). So the Blues stay at 42 fighting majors on the season, good for second in the NHL behind those Anaheim Ducks. Their fight record – despite that less-than-stellar 1-2-1 fight performance in Anaheim – is still solid at 18-14-10. That downward slide really concerns me . . . . But I digress.

Who said the West Coast was all about finesse? This may be the most rugged road trip – in sheer volume – that the Blues will face all season. And it ends with a San Jose Sharks team that is not only ill-tempered from a bad losing streak, but has no problem shedding the gloves and throwing punches. We’ve reported on the Sharks twice before this season (November 4th and December 18th). There’s still some lingering bitterness from Joe Thornton’s hit on David Perron, even if the players on either side try to play it off. And there were fights in each previous game (mostly in the second contest), so you can be sure the contestants will think about another go at it. The Sharks have collected 31 fighting majors on the season, good for seventh in the NHL, holding a very impressive fight record of 13-3-15 in those bouts. So it’s not all wine and cheese just north of Napa Valley. I don’t mind this, as you should know by now.

Two-way stud and possible All-Star snub Ryane Clowe (6’2”, 225lbs, 4-0-5 including a draw with Crombeen) leads the team with nine fights on the season. Former Blue and former hero of this reporter, Jamal Mayers (6’1”, 214lbs, 3-1-4 including a draw with Brad Winchester and a win over Winchester), has fought eight times. Frazer McLaren (6’5”, 250lbs, 1-1-2, currently with Worcester of the AHL) and Scott Nichol (5’9”, 180lbs, 1-0-3 including a draw with Chris Porter) are drawn at four fights apiece. All other Sharks fighters have only gone at it once each this season – Douglas Murray (6’3”, 240lbs, Win), Jamie McGinn (6’0”, 185lbs, Win), Mike Moore (6’1”, 200lbs, Win, currently with Worcester of the AHL), Devin Setoguchi (6’0”, 200lbs, Draw), youngster Brandon Mashinster (6’4”, 235lbs, Draw) and Calder candidate Logan Couture (6’1”, 195lbs, Loss – to Alex Pietrangelo, questionable with a knee injury).

I think Ryan Reaves – following his barrage of goals since his recent call-up – will throw down the gloves tonight with someone. Clowe would be a good matchup for him, as would Mayers. Crombeen could fight either of them. And Winchester could fight Mayers like he did in both previous meeting. Or, like last game, both Crombeen and Reaves could score goals. Or Winchester could continue his recent hot scoring stretch. You never know what might happen with this team these days. And yes, I really do like this Reaves kid – he’s big, he’s strong, he plays hard and he fights. And he wears an offensive lineman’s number. KUDOS!

A two-game winning streak would be nice to come home to on Tuesday. Let’s say you get it done, boys.

Saturday’s disappointing 4-1 Blues loss to the San Jose Sharks did bring some excitement, in the form of three fights – which was an expected development after the previous tilt between the teams. The problem? The Blues didn’t win any of these fights. But some temporary good news came of it later (more on that in a bit). First, BJ Crombeen worked a draw with Ryane Clowe. Then, in what can be best-described as a non-fight, Chris Porter fell on top of Scott Nichol for a draw. Finally, after a Sharks goal, Jamal Mayers laid waste to Brad Winchester. The temporary good news? With those three fights, the Blues moved up to 34 fighting majors on the season, currently good for a tie for FIRST PLACE in the NHL with the New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins. And the fight record, despite Saturday’s developments, is still a strong 16-10-8. Now, if only the Blues could win some games . . . .

We’ve already covered the Vancouver Canucks once (find the report here). That was a little over two weeks ago. Not much has changed since, but I’ll rehash that review anyway. In that game, Carlo Colaiacovo absolutely eviscerated Keith Ballard in a fight that happened shortly after a questionable hit by Ballard on Colaiacovo (video here). That brought the Canucks to 14 fights on the season, and since then they’ve fought twice to bring them to a paltry total of 16 fighting majors on the season, good for 20th place in the NHL by themselves. Their fight record isn’t much better than the total number of fights – 4-6-6.

Tanner Glass (6’1”, 210lbs, 1-1-2) still leads the Rick Rypien-less Canucks with four fights on the season. Rypien (5’11”, 190lbs, 0-2-1), despite his absences, is still in second with three fights, showing that this team really needs another enforcer. Guillaume Desbiens (6’2”, 210lbs, 1-1-0) could have been that enforcer, but he broke his hand in his second fight of the season back in early November, then was unclaimed on waivers and sent to Manitoba. Other Canucks with two fights are Kevin Bieksa (6’1”, 198lbs, 2-0-0), and the aforementioned “Goalie Killer” Ballard (5’11”, 208lbs, 0-1-1). Those with one fight each include former Blue Jacket Raffi Torres (6’0”, 216lbs, Draw), Alexandre Bolduc (6’1”, 197lbs, Draw) and the massive Andrew Alberts (6’5”, 218lbs, Loss).

But if history shows us anything, the Blues will work at least one fight – if not two – out of this Canucks squad. I have been waiting for Bieksa and David Backes to fight each other since the 2009 postseason, so maybe it happens this time. Excepting that, maybe Glass and Cam Janssen go after each other.

A better effort at home, please? Thanks!

Yes, it’s true. I still love Jammer. Image via Zimbio

It appears the Blues scored a week’s worth of goals in a 6-4 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday, but at least there was a fight to help calm the nerves. Kyle Clifford – a noted young bruiser – took on Tyson Strachan – a Noted seventh defenseman (see what I did there?) – in a quick bout. Clifford was more active and thereby was able to win the fight handily. Video evidence of the fight is here. The Blues are still in third place but now with 31 fighting majors on the season, possessing a record of 16-8-7.

So, the last time the San Jose Sharks were in town, this happened. Somehow, David Perron finished that game (even scoring a goal), but he hasn’t played since. Joe Thornton, for his part, was ejected from that game and given a two-game suspension. It would stand to reason that the Blues haven’t forgotten about the incident, even if it really wasn’t NEARLY as dirty as it looks (but, for all intents and purposes, was not a clean hit). The issue I’m having with the Sharks right now is this: they haven’t fought since November 24th. At that time, the Sharks were one of the top fighting teams in the league (as in, “Top Five” top teams). In fact, I gave them some slight praise in the lead-up report (find it here). Now, they’re in a tie for ninth with the Calgary Flames and Dallas Stars with 23 fights. They hold a 9-3-11 record in these fights, which isn’t terrible.

Ryane Clowe (6’2”, 225lbs, 3-0-3) and former Blue Jamal Mayers (6’1”, 214lbs, 1-1-4 including a draw with Brad Winchester) are co-leaders of this team with six fights each. They are followed by Frazer McLaren (6’4”, 225lbs, 1-1-2, currently with Worcester of the AHL) with four and Scott Nichol (5’9”, 180lbs, 1-0-1) with two. Solo fights have been contested by Douglas Murray (6’3”, 240lbs, Win, day-to-day with a lower body issue), Jamie McGinn (6’0”, 185lbs, Win), Mike Moore (6’1”, 200lbs, Win, currently with Worcester of the AHL), Devin Setoguchi (6’0”, 200lbs, Draw) and Calder candidate Logan Couture (6’1”, 195lbs, Loss – to Alex Pietrangelo).

This would be the perfect time for the Sharks to bust out of their dry fighting spell, and I think the perfect contestants would be Winchester and Clowe. But hey, another fight involving Jammer would not wreck my feelings.

A home winning streak would be beautiful. So let’s do this thing.

Blood was spilled Thursday during the Blues’ 2-0 win over the San Jose Sharks, as anticipated from the lead-up. Joe Thornton – not known as a cheap player (and in my mind, still not a cheap player), connected on a very questionable hit to the side of our own David Perron’s head. It ended up costing Jumbo Joe a five-minute penalty and a game misconduct, as well as an additional two-game suspension for the Sharks Captain. And, of course, there were fights. Brad Winchester got on my bad side again, going after my favorite former Blue (and former favorite Blue), Jamal Mayers. If you give the win to either guy, you give it to Winchester, but I call it a draw. Then, Alex Pietrangelo got into his first career fight as he battled another young prospect, Logan Couture, after the Thornton-Perron hit. Petro got the best of that battle. (Click on each opponent name for the fight video.) This brings the Blues to 11 fights on the young season, good for a tie for seventh in the league with the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Islanders. They are now 6-2-3 in those bouts and are giving a good showing in these bouts. The Boston Bruins come in as one of the darlings of the Eastern Conference, but they’re not allergic to fisticuffs. Last year, they fought 47 times – and while that was only good for 17th in the NHL, middle-of-the-pack is not a bad thing in the Eastern Conference fight-wise. This year, it seems the Bruins are ramping up the intensity on the ice, currently placing in a tie for 10th (ironically, with the Washington Capitals, who they faced last night AND registered a fight with in that game) in the NHL with 10 fights on the young 2010-2011 season. They are 1-1-8 in those fights. I wish I were kidding.

Up to this point, I’ve listed the fighters from the previous season and how those fighters fared in 2009-2010. This being the tenth game of the season, I’ll stop doing that, and focus on what these teams have done in fights THIS season. It’s easier to do now – every team has registered multiple fights now.

Your contestants for the Bruins in their 10 fights thus far? Two each by Mark Stuart (6’2” 213lbs, 1-0-1), Greg Campbell (6’0”, 197lbs, 0-0-2) and Milan Lucic (6’4”, 220lbs, 0-0-2) and one each by Shawn Thornton (6’2”, 217lbs, Draw), Nathan Horton (6’2”, 229lbs, Draw), Adam McQuaid (6’4”, 197lbs, Draw) and Dennis Seidenberg (6’1”, 210lbs, Loss).

Now, whatever happens, if any Blue fights with Zdeno Chara, they deserve the beating they’re about to get. Otherwise, it seems Thornton hasn’t gotten his hands bloodied enough yet this season. Look for him to go at it with someone like BJ Crombeen. Otherwise, a Lucic-Winchester bout would be worth watching. But what I’d REALLY like is to see Cam Janssen back out there.

Eastern Conference opponents . . . at THEIR place! I love it. Get a win, gang!

Surprisingly with the number of former Blackhawks playing against the Blues in Saturday’s dramatic 4-3 shootout win over the Atlanta Thrashers, not to mention the seeming one-sidedness of the calls going against the Blues in that game (not that we’re biased or anything here at The Bluenote Zone), there were no fights. Too bad, so sad . . . but such is life. The Blues remain at nine fights on the young season (5-2-2). Despite the sparse October schedule that leaves The Note as one of two teams AT THIS MOMENT to have played less than ten games, the team is in a tie for ninth in the NHL with the New Jersey Devils and the Washington Capitals (teams that have played five and three more games, respectively, than the Blues). So not only is this team succeeding at winning, they’re succeeding at throwing punches. And trust me, this is a good combination!

The San Jose Sharks are one of those special “Total Pain In The Ass” teams – they score goals, they have agitators, they have role players, they have grinders and they have fighters. They even have some guys that can play a combo of two or three items from that menu. In 2009-10, the Sharks went 20-15-22 in 57 fights (tied for ninth with the Toronto Maple Leafs) en route to a 2-seed in the Western Conference side of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and a subsequent Western Conference Finals appearance. These guys were good at many things last year, and this year – despite a slight unexpected dip in the standings – they’re still good at fighting as they hold third place in the NHL with 13 fights (4-3-6). Last season, Cam Janssen destroyed Brad Staubitz November 14th in St. Louis, Ryane Clowe defeated BJ Crombeen December 3rd in San Jose and Janssen and Jody Shelley worked a marathon draw January 6th in St. Louis. Links to the YouTube clips of each fight are on each opponent name.

The Sharks’ leading fighter last year was Staubitz (6’1”, 210lbs, 3-3-6, signed with Minnesota) with 12. The Sharks’ leading RETURNING fighter is Clowe (6’2”, 225lbs, 8-1-2) with 11 last season. Following them were Shelley (6’3”, 230, 3-3-4, signed with Philadelphia) with 10, youngster Frazer McLaren (6’4”, 225lbs, 2-3-3) with eight, Scott Nichol (5’9”, 180lbs, 1-1-2) with four and Douglas Murray (6’3”, 240lbs, 1-1-0) and Jay Leach (6’4”, 220lbs, 0-1-1 as a Shark and 0-2-1 overall, now in the AHL) each with two. Single-fighters included Jed Ortmeyer (6’0”, 200lbs, Loss, now in the AHL), Manny Malhotra (6’2”, 220lbs, Win, signed with Vancouver), Kent Huskins (6’3”, 210lbs, Loss), Marc-Edouard Vlasic (6’1”, 200lbs, Draw), Torrey Mitchell (5’11”, 190lbs, Draw), Jason Demers (6’1”, 185lbs, Draw), Niclas Wallin (6’3”, 220lbs, Draw) and Devin Setoguchi (6’0”, 200lbs, Win). They made one key fight addition, adding the 15 fights of my favorite former Blue (and my former favorite Blue, too) Jamal Mayers (6’1”, 214lbs, 7-3-5 with Toronto and Calgary last season).

Contesting in this year’s 13 fights for the Sharks have been Clowe (1-1-2) with four, McLaren (1-1-1) and Mayers (0-2-1) each with three, Nichol (1-0-1) with two and Murray (Win) with one.

If I had my druthers, I would bet on a rematch between Crombeen and Clowe, but if Janssen plays, do not be shocked if he goes after either Clowe or Staubitz . . . or vice-versa. And I’d really like to see what Nichol has, as I really haven’t seen much of him as a fighter but it appears he’s trying to get in the mix. Other than someone like Vladimir Sobotka, who doesn’t fight, there doesn’t seem to be the right matchup for him here, though.

Keep the home winning streak alive, you say? Don’t mind if you do, gang.
