Changes they just keep coming since Tom Stillman took over. Today the St. Louis Blues announced some relatively minor title shakeups in the Hockey Operations department.
The team has named Dave Taylor as Vice President of Hockey Operations and Al MacInnis as Senior Advisor to the General Manager.
Kevin McDonald will remain Assistant General Manager of the Blues and General Manager of the Peoria Rivermen, while Rob DiMaio has been named Director of Pro Scouting.
For those keeping track at home:
- MacInnis was the VP of Hockey Ops previously.
- Taylor was and seems to still be Director of Player Personnel.
- DiMaio moves up to take half of McDonald’s two titles.
Surely there is a little shock with some important names and job functions changing hands, but really, it’s no more than basic housekeeping word. Doug Armstrong is just organism his stuff where he wants it… and saves his new boss Tom Stillman some money.
