Rivermen Report: The new Rivermen RadioActive show premieres tonight.

Rivermen broadcaster Brendan Burke, beat writer Dave Eminian, and assistant coach are doing a monthly interactive radio show… and it premieres tonight! 7:00pm and available online streaming it promises to use Facebook and Twitter to take questions from the fans and discuss them on-air.

I thought it might be nice if the BNZ crowd wanted to listen in, or even ask questions of their own, and get some first hand information about the Rivermen. If you do ask a question tell them The Rivermen Blog (@LetsGoRivs) sent ya ;)

From the Rivermen website:

The completely interactive show will be hosted by Rivermen radio voice Brendan Burke, Peoria Journal Star beat writer Dave Eminian, and Rivermen assistant coach Danny Brooks.  The trio will take questions from the audience as well as fully integrate Twitter and Facebook into the show.  Each show will feature different guests, including Rivermen players, who will field questions and join in on the lively conversation.

Questions can be asked by following Burke (@brendanmburke) or Eminian (@icetimecleve) on Twitter, by commenting on the Rivermen Facebook page (www.facebook.com/peoriarivermen) or emailingradio@rivermen.net.

“We will have plenty of things to talk about with this team throughout the year, but I really want the fans to drive this show and raise the topics that they want to talk about,” said Burke of the interactive format.  “It will make the show a whole lot of fun for us and for the fans.”

The show can be heard locally on CD Country 107.9 FM or worldwide online through www.cdcountry1079.com.  To listen on your smartphone visit www.tuneinradio.com/mobile and download the free app for iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone or Palm.
