The St. Louis Blues Radio Podcast is Coming

BlueNoteZone.com was founded by myself and three others to fill a whole we felt existed in the St. Louis Blues fan community. Three years ago the same hard working beat writers we have today were giving everyone the news, but providing little analyzing or commentary. It’s just the name of their game. We wanted to emulate the same professional quality of work, but just in the realm of opinion. There was one such soul providing more than the basic details, but there was certainly room for more.

Fast forward today Summer 2011 and a new hole was found and BNZ is there once again to service the needs of our fellow blue bleeding fans by working with them.

On Tuesday, September 20th, 2011 the St. Louis Blues Radio Podcast will debut. A collaborative effort between BlueNoteZone.com Owner and NHLHotStove.com Associate Editor Jeff Quirin, LetsGoBlues.com Owner Curt Price and LGB Lead Writer Jeff Ponder to deliver news analysis and opinion regarding the Blues in audio form.

Shows will run for about an hour and in a roundtable format. From time to time we’ll pull in fellow Blues bloggers and friends to guest on the show. As well as bloggers and media personalities from the other 29 NHL teams.

For the first episode we’ll cover the following:
- Recapping the off season signings.
- Discussing the Lokomotiv plan crash.
- Recapping the Blues 2011 Traverse City Prospect Tournament effort.
- Notes and thoughts from the start of Training Camp.
- Cover the upcoming preseason schedule.

Look for the show to be posted on the podcast site and also on iTunes Tuesday.

You can follow the show hosts on Twitter for more Blues and podcast news.
