Speaking of Chaser… He announced today that his contracts with the Blues and the NHL Network have be renewed. Kudos to one of my favorite Blues growing up. He has really grown in to the best analyst the Blues employ. Don’t get me wrong, I like Panger, but Chaser is the best.

From Elsewhere on the Interwebs
BNZ co-founder Mark Massa posted a link to a Russian interview with Blues prospect Jori Lehtera over at the Asylum. Most interesting part, he apparently spent three weeks in St. Louis this summer. He also doesn’t sound too fond of a return to Peoria. A big year in the KHL will be needed to make him a big enough blip on the Blues radar next off season with Sibir linemate Vladimir Tarasenko and NCAA prospect Jaden Schwartz could likely take NHL roster spots that Lehtera could be in line for.
