Jaden Schwartz Out 6 Weeks & Will Miss Rest of WJC

Per release by the St. Louis Blues, 2010 First Round selection Jaden Schwartz suffered a fractured ankle at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Buffalo. The Team Canada forward took an odd fall and broke his ankle in a tournament game against the Czech Republic. Sidelining the Colorado College freshman at least six weeks.

In two contests at the WJC Jaden chipped in a goal and two assists. At Colorado College he has registered 11 goals and 26 points in 17 games. Jaden and his brother Rylan lead CC in scoring with a combined total of 16 goals and 50 points in 37 games.

Vladimir Tarasenko (Russia) and Sebastian Wannstrom (Sweden) are both still participating in the tournament.
