Blues News: Colaiacovo to IR with Concussion

Per official release from the St. Louis Blues, Defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo has been placed on Injured Reserve with a concussion.

Nathan Oystrick has been recalled from the Peoria Rivermen of the AHL.

That puts the total of Blues defenseman on IR at three. Nikita Nikitin (wrist) is soon to return, but Roman Polak will be out indefinitely as will Colaiacovo.

The injury was sustained late in the third period of the game in Nashville on October 28th. Due to a questionable hit from Predator Forward Jordin Tootoo.
