Q’s Cuties: Blues at Stars 9-25
Welcome to tonight’s cutie watch! I’d like to first say that I hope Harding recovers quickly after tearing his ACL and MCL here in St. Louis last night (per Michael Russo’s Blog). This injury is almost identical to what happened to Johnson on the golf course, so St. Louis fans know how long it takes to get back into action after damaging both of these ligaments. On a lighter note, I enjoyed the action last night- especially seeing my Wild Cutie to Watch, Stoner, duke it out with Crombeen. Let’s get onto tonight’s players to watch:
Tonight shows another mixed roster from the Blues. It seems they are giving some prospects different lines to see who is actually going to make the final cut. Here’s who my eye will be on tonight:
Cam Janssen #55: Cam’s the home-town cutie from Eureka with muscles to spare. Also, when I met the guy he seemed genuinely nice and was fun to be around. I loved having seats above the penalty box for games when Janssen was playing- when he gets in a fight, he tends to have to show off for the ladies by showing his muscles off before he completely rearranges his pads and jersey. What lady doesn’t love eye candy? I’m picking Janssen tonight since he has been exchanging words with Barch from the Stars via Twitter. Will the gloves drop tonight?
Stars Cutie to Watch: Without a line up released for the Stars, I can’t guarantee my pick for tonight will be playing. That being said, I’ll be keeping an eye out for….
Fabian Brunnstrom #96, Left Wing: This cutie has played 2 seasons with the Stars since coming to the NHL from Sweden. He’s accumulated 40 points in 99 games, and it looks as though he suffered the “sophomore slump” in the 2009-2010 season. Will he turn his slump around? Looking at his stats from Sweden it seems likely, but lets hope that his turn around doesn’t start while he is playing against the Blues.
