Andy Strickland reports good news on the search to replace TowerBrook.

The short version is as follows.

Managing Owner Dave Checketts confirmed three groups are in the mix for the 75% majority ownership of the St. Louis Blues. The expectation is that the deal will be finalized prior to the end of 2010.

Checketts also expects to retain the managing interest in the team.

With less than three months left in 2010, will the deal get done? Time will tell.
