Friday Bluenotes: Are We There Yet?

All is quiet in Bluesville today. Might be the best thing for the fans though. A little quiet time to rest and relax for what is likely to be the most important season for the Checketts regime. All the puzzle pieces are there. Time for them to grow legs and find their place fitting together on the ice.

I’m so ready for training camp though.

Per Twitter reports former Blues Goalie Roman Turek finally retired. Didn’t know he was still playing.

Ducks fans have mixed emotions regarding Paul Kariya. I don’t blame them, but Paul can still offer a team 15-20 goals, 40+ points, speed and skill with solid two way play. After his surgeries he was less of a periphery player as well. Either the Ducks or Pens should roll the dice for 1 year at $1-$2 million.
