The Return of Alexander Steen

If your memory serves you well, you will remember Alex Steen’s start to the season before he was injured.

Only recording one goal, he was by far the Blues best player. His hustle, speed, skill and determination made his one of the most valuable forwards for the Blues.

Now being cleared to play much earlier than expected, he will try and return to the form he was in at the start of the season.

With Steen returning sooner than expected, Cam Janssen will likely be the first candidate to sit, as the Blues play the New York Islanders next game, they lack an enforcer, so Janssen sitting is the smartest idea.

So what will the line up going to look like with Steen back? Do you break up Crombeen and McClement, or do you put Steen back on that line? Put Crombeen with Tkachuk and Winchester to let Steen play with McClement and Berglund?

Lots of questions are going to be circling around Andy Murray’s decisions.

We can all speculate that the jump Steen is going to put into the game can only help the offensively struggling Blues team.
